National Lutheran School Accreditation

St. Luke's Christian Academy (previously known as St. Luke's Lutheran School) has been accredited since 2016 and has been recommended for re-accreditation by National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA). NLSA has served as the accrediting body for Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod schools across the United States and the world since 1978. Accreditation decisions are based upon a school’s compliance with national standards for Lutheran schools that reflect the essential qualities that are expected of Lutheran schools.

Schools are evaluated on the following indicators utilizing Evidence Based Accreditation (EBA): Purpose, Relationships, Governance, Professional Personnel, Student Services, Teaching and Learning, and Facilities. EBA is objective rather than subjective in nature as it requires schools to identify evidence and practices pertaining to each indicator.
